Thank you to everyone who submitted questions for the Panel of the Cornwall Dentistry Summit, which takes place on Friday 17 July from 10am-12pm. The event will be available to watch online through:Over 160 questions were received and a selection of people who submitted a question have been invited to attend the event, as part of the invited audience, to put their questions to the panel in person.
CAP Chairs have also been invited to attend the event, which will be chaired by BBC Radio Cornwall's Julie Skentlebury.
A wide range of experts will be on the Panel, including:- Eddie Crouch, Chair of the National British Dental Association Board
- Jasem Greval, CEO of Smile:Together Dental CIC
- Matt Jerreat, NHS England SW Regional Chief Dental Officer and Chair of SW Local Dental Network
- Kirsty Lewis, Director of Primary Care with NHS Devon and CIOS Cluster ICB
- Cllr Thalia Marrington, Cornwall Council Lead Member for Community Safety and Public Health
- Jenna Murgatroyd, Chair of the NHS CIOS Local Dental Committee
- Rob Witton, Deputy Head of Peninsula Dental School.
Leader of Cornwall Council, Cllr Leigh Frost, convened the Dentistry Summit, to bring the right people together to have an open conversation about the scale of the challenges faced by residents when it comes to accessing a dentist. Leigh extends his thanks to the panellists, who are from organisations that have a part to play in helping to find practical solutions that will benefit our residents.
